Personal photography and videography are permitted at the Villa Terrace Art Museum. A general photography permit is required for all wedding, engagement, family, and school pictures or any other posed photography session that uses the museum as a backdrop and/or requires special attire.

Personal photography permits are $100/hr (10 people or less) and are bookable via the Square Appointments form below. 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Permits must be requested 7 business days in advance of your suggested photography date via the booking form below. We recommend 30 days in advance.
  • Phone requests to book a session will be ignored.
  • Permit fees must be booked in advance via Square Appointments. Failure to pay before you session date will result in cancellation and potential immediate rejection of future bookings.
  • Cancellation fees apply to all photography permits.
  • By requesting/booking a session you agree to the photography permit guidelines including all rules, fines and fees applicable.

***Due to the immense demand for photography sessions in addition to our extremely busy summer season, booking a photography appointment is treated as a request until our staff can confirm availability. If there is no availability, you will be refunded in full. Requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you for your patience and understanding***

We do not allow impromptu or day-of photography appointments. You will be turned away without a permit and appointment.

A permit and certificate of insurance are required for all commercial and advertising photography. Commercial photography permits start at $400/hr and can be obtained via the form found here.

With the Renaissance Garden, historic Italian Renaissance-style architecture, and lakefront terrace, dramatic settings are limitless at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum. Photographers and videographers are not provided by the museum for events.

Rates

Small Group (Less than 10 People)
$100/hr with a one-hour minimum.

Large Group Photography
Starting at $200/hr with a one-hour minimum.

Stand-Alone Wedding Photography
Starting at $200/hr with a two-hour minimum. (Photography rates are waived for those hosting their wedding at the museum).

Starting at $400/hr with a three-hour minimum.
