Ariana Huggett

Alongside Jeff Clancey, our 2018/19 artist-in-residence, Ariana Huggett, will conclude her residency with House Tableau, an exhibit of a series of paintings depicting carefully composed views of the historic rooms at both the Charles Allis and Villa Terrace. The series is part of Huggett’s ongoing project of painting on location using Milwaukee’s historic architecture as subject. Both Clancy and Huggett’s work use creative vision to help us glimpse elusive truths, perhaps hidden in plain sight, that broaden our experience of the museum, its spaces, and its past inhabitants.
